Rock Yourself at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located in Cleveland, Ohio. They are open seven days a week, the times are 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. On Wednesday they have extended hours that go until 9 pm. General admission prices are 23.50 for adults. College students and veterans do get a discounted rate. Children under the age of five are free. Children from the ages of 6 to 12 are only 13.75. Seniors that are over the age of 65 only have to pay 21.25 to get in.
There are five levels to the Hall of Fame. On each level is something different and interesting for you to learn about music, musicians, and the music they make. There are displays of famous musicians, artifacts they have used, sheets of music, diaries, really anything that you can think of that a musician might have used. It is on display here. There are also special exhibits that include the current year inductees, how radio works and personalities that are on air, and what being backstage is like. You also have the chance to purchase gifts from the gift store. You can also eat at the café, which features gourmet foods and drinks. Exhibits for the Hall of Fame do change up, so always be on the lookout to see what is coming or currently there!
Some times there are concerts and performances at the Hall of Fame. To find out what is going on for the month, you can visit their website and click on the calendar to find out. Some are free, some you have to pay extra, and some are film showings.
